Mr. Worden's AP Biology class

This is a year long college level course designed to prepare students for the AP Biology exam which students must take in May (a passing grade may make them eligible for college credit). Students must put a lot of time into reading and preparing for tests/quizzes. Students will need to keep a laboratory notebook to show to your propective college that you did laboratory work in school. AP classes are challenging and help build your thinking skills, writing skills and your confidence.

Know proteins and lipids. Know what it is that makes four levels of structure in a protein. Know how to differentiate between the steroid examples. Look at the worksheet (substance, structure,function, properties,importance) on the structure/function /properties and examples of macromolecules in the student resources.
