Go to the hormone study sheet on the student resources, follow the links, memorize the list of hormones given, where the glands are, which glands produce them, what are the target cells and what action they cause. It is a lot to memorize, do don't start it the night before you get back. Look for pairs of hormones that have opposite actions. ex. insulin and glucagon, it is easier to group them that way. Know how the negative feedback loop works. You are not limited to just these sites in which to test your knowledge of hormones. there are many sites that have tutorials and quizzes! Try to find more. There is also a worksheet you need to be able to fill in by heart. There will be a quiz on hormones when you get back. We do not go over this material for any more than a few minutes before the quiz.
