This week we should finish up with genetics.
Take notes on c 15. We will not have to learn about epistasis.
Next week we will finish the lab on fruit flies.
You should have written up the mitosis and meiosis activities as two separate lab activities. You should be able to draw conclusions about how much time it takes to do each stage of mitosis. Just note that the book shows metaphase as the longest. With a higher sample size we may have found that to be true.
Two sets of problems should be completed in the next three days.
Questions that deal with stuff we haven't taught yet can be done last.
This would include questions on linked genes and sex linked genes.
Questions on chromosomal mutations can be answered by looking up the answers.
Prepare for Lab 7 on genetics by going on lab bench main lab 7 tutorial.
I will teach you again how to do the chi square test.
