Mr. Worden's AP Biology class

This is a year long college level course designed to prepare students for the AP Biology exam which students must take in May (a passing grade may make them eligible for college credit). Students must put a lot of time into reading and preparing for tests/quizzes. Students will need to keep a laboratory notebook to show to your propective college that you did laboratory work in school. AP classes are challenging and help build your thinking skills, writing skills and your confidence.

Essay on DNA and RNA

Prepare the first 20 minutes of class by reviewing your notes and the book. Then the rest of class complete the following two esssys. 1. The structure of DNA allows it to be faithfully reproduced without errors. Describe what three characteristics the DNA has that allows it to be copied without mistakes. 2, There are several kinds of RNA, each of which has a different role in the cell. Discuss the structure and functions of three differnt kinds of RNA.
