Mr. Worden's AP Biology class

This is a year long college level course designed to prepare students for the AP Biology exam which students must take in May (a passing grade may make them eligible for college credit). Students must put a lot of time into reading and preparing for tests/quizzes. Students will need to keep a laboratory notebook to show to your propective college that you did laboratory work in school. AP classes are challenging and help build your thinking skills, writing skills and your confidence.

test thursday on evolution weekend hw qz tomorrow

Their will be a quiz on PTC lab done in class. The quiz grade will count as a lab grade and will assess what you learned about the lab on tasters vs nontasters of PTC. Test Thursday will be on micro and macroevolution 23, 24 and parts covered in 25. This weekend read about genetics,13, 14, concentrate on 257 a comparison of mitosis and meiosis ...also the vocab in 24, the laws: dominance, segregation, independent assortment and laws of probability omit pleitropy and epistasis learn blood groups A, B, O,AB chapt 15 will be due by Wed.
