Make predictions for the different solutions and how will you find the proper order of concentrations. Memorize definitions(bolded terms) diffusion, osmosis, water potential, etc from the chapter on transport. We will do the potato core experiment tomorrow. Potato cores will be massed and placed in different solutions. From this we can calculate the molarity of the cytoplasm in the potato cells by finding an isotonic point. Go through the lab tonight on Lab bench main- difussion and osmosis experiment
