The test is Thursday. It will cover chapters 1-3 with most of the emphasis on 2 and 3 and how they relate to plants, especially water transport and the properties of water. It will also cover transpiration in plants and the lab. There are also selected plant terms/cells/tissues from the notes, worksheets with images of plant parts, and selected notes in class from 34, 35 and 36. There will be two essays which there will be allotted about 20 minutes each for which to finish. There are 34 multiple choice/ fill-in questions, most are recall questions. There will be about 20 minutes of time allotted to finish those questions. No extra time will be given to finish.
Studying for the test; use flash cards to learn definitions; do not just read, but write down those things you can't remember on cards and take them out when you have a few minutes during the day and look them over; know the diagrams and cover the names and later fill them in while reciting their function. When you actively study you have more confidence, then you will be more relaxed and do better on the test. Do not get upset if you can't answer all the questions!
